So I am working my way up to 2.0 of CP. I am at 1.2 right now. My ammonia has been perfect the last three days (that's how long it has taken me to get to 1.2). I have a bunch of BioSpira on hand. If I can keep my ammonia in check, do I have to do WC during the 14 day copper treatment (once it gets to 2.o)?

Thanks!

That's a great question. It depends on how strong and healthy your bio filter system is in the QT. It's no big deal to do the WC. Just remember to add the copper to 2.0 into the new water before it goes into the QT. Sometimes my filter is running so good I almost don't need to do WC other than to siphon off debris from the bottom of the QT.

Thanks. Sounds like a plan.
