do bta have to physically touch a coral to bother it. Or just be close?
I have a green mushroom that is all shriveled up and a Kenya tree that is leaning away from my anemone, but I’ve never seen it actually touch them. Check the pics.

The shroom does look completely shaded by the BTA. Might also be getting stung when you are not looking. My BTAs move around at night and do sting things, then usually return to their usual spot. Couldn't tell you why it does that. From the picture the kenya tree appears to be too far away to really be affected by the BTA.
