I used to run T5 retro fit in a hood over my old 40g breeder. Have been thinking of going to back to a 6x24 over my 25g lagoon but that is probably way overkill. cant find a 4x24 anywhere. What bulb compbinations are you all running.
Have you check FB market Iv seen a couple of 24” for sale
I would run 2 Blue plus 1 Coral Plus and 1 Purple plus for SPS

Where do you live. I have a knack for finding information usually or finding a starting point. Could send email since disconinuing as well. See if they can drop a bit to offset shipping.
Im Puerto Rico 00614. I try the FB Market but no luck finding a good one. Found 1 but the guy gives me the feeling I could end up in a paypal dispute

What effect are you going for with the Great Barrier Turquoise bulb?
To increase yellow fluorescent proteins. Potentially even red. It peaks at 500nm.

I also really enjoy the fluorescence a cyan LED has on my lobophyllia and Montipora corals (I tested it with cyan LEDs)

From this article: http://www.blueharbor.co.jp/en/Coral-Color-Management.html

I have a yellow microclados acro who seems to need high cyan light. I want to test it out to see if it needs cyan to color up. :)

I use 2 of the ATI 8x54 watts on my tank.

I recently ordered the Great Barrier Turquoise bulb which is very difficult to get. It’s a cyan spectrum.

I love how customizable T5 are. I also like how you can add UV (400-420nm) and not need to worry about the lights breaking (like many LEDS).

T5 for life! :)
I looked around and didn't see any.

The above article is incorrect - red corals require red light and yellow corals - yellow light, simples!
I’m talking about fluorescent proteins, not chromoproteins. It’s more complicated than that, Borat.

I had to pay in euros to korallen zucht in Germany. It’s been in customs for 3 weeks. I check daily in hopes today will be the day it comes.

It’s currently in NY.

quick search and the 4x24w have been discontinued as well. If I want to go back to T5 will have to go with a 6x24w.
Change your location to Orlando, FL on the FB market and you could find what your looking for.
