Glad to be back!
I've been out of the game for a few years now, close to ten, and I'm getting back into the groove slowly but surely. I see that a lot has changed since I last had a tank but this time I am going retro and DIY. When I stopped I had some old equipment, now that I'm back (and I'm a hoarder) I have all of the same equipment I've moved with me all over NC except for the tank. I plan to make a successful reef with as many DIY and 3d printed tech I can come up with. Id like to hear what you all have come up with that has/has not worked for you in your journey through keeping a successful reef.
I intend to share my successes and failures with everyone, and learn from those who are willing to share!

New setup (3 weeks into a cycle)
Retro Parts:
90g drilled tank, return only, with custom stand (purchased from FB marketplace)
30g fuge with diy baffles using lowes glass
Current USA - 8 bulb t5 display light and a CPR Aquatics (forgotten type) fluorescent fuge light
eshopps psk-75 skimmer using a sr aquaristic 500gph dc pump
sicce voyager 2 stream pump

New parts:
Jebao DCQ-5000 dc return pump

DIY:
All plumbing
Algae scrubber (in process) made from pvc, sprinkler system fittings, and an old overflow
return jets - 3d printed random flow nozzles
RODI ATO through the wall behind the tank from under a bathroom vanity

Will be adding a Jebao MCP-150 Cross flow DC pump
