Nice!!! I am kind of doing a similar thing with my apex but with a false wall. You are going to like the pp8 better lots of flow just gotta see at what point your sand goes all over and keep it there.
Still have a lot of cord management inside the stand and behind that needs to be addressed. And I still haven't picked up any lights. I'm still leaning towards Hydra 26s hds.
Yesterday I was wondering the same while building mine. Did you get an answer about this?Really nice setup. Always admired the redsea with avery clean setup. I've seen some at my LFS and got me curious with one thing. Redsea designedthe tank to fit perfectly with their stand which is a wow to me. However, due to the fact of clearance to open the cabinet, they left a gap between the tank and the cabinet doors. For that reason, could it possible cause integrity issue from overtime stress? Sorry i took one of your pic to refference my statement. Do apologize.
The bottom is fully supported on the reefers. The front glass does float. On the smallest reefers (170) the back and front glass float, but the entire bottom is on the stand.Nope. Not planning to own a red sea so i didnt bother taking the time to do more research on it. I would be scared if i own one of their big one.
????I have a RSR 250 too. Can we get an update on this tank?
