Please understand I love my fuge. I love all the worms, bugs, pods, macros, snails. All of them. Including my white flatworms! And I don't want to kill them. My fuge and display are fed and drain into the same sump. so the water share is indirect.
That being said,
Its been 2 months+ since the last addition to my fuge. (Red grape tree). Three days ago I was admiring my fuge and saw what appeared to be a planaria. I syphoned it out, tossed it, closely examined the entire fuge and began to pray. today I found another single planaria. Same response as last time.
The thing that gets me is the both appeared adult size. Ive had them a long time ago and I know they multiply quickly. It does not make sense to me that its been 2 months and I only found one adult at a time, twice. I stare at my fuge for atleast 30min a night. I'm not exagerating. And extremely close using my phones zoom.
I don't want to use fwe because I'm afraid it will kill my other little friends. I have a six line and two manderins in the display who may be eating stragglers.
Questions;
1) do you think they are in my fuge or display or both?
2) there is nothing in my fuge they can hurt, is it a problem?
3) do you think my fish will prevent the display from a population explosion?
4) why do you think there population is so slow in coming?
5) can u think of a solution?
Thx ahead of time
