Best opinions for floating your canopy over your Tank so your lights are Concealed !!

I am looking to float my canopy over my SCA150 RIMLESS tank that's getting ready to finally go up!! Would like to get your thoughts and opinions on the best way to float your canopy.. I am think I will be bolting mine to the my roof and let it sit like 12'' away from my tank.. If you float your canopy in anyways, can you do me a favor and post some pictures?

I have a cord cover to hide that, but haven’t gotten around to painting and mounting it yet. This is hiding three 165W Viparspectras.

Thanks! They are just 1X4’s screwed into the studs.
