Can you post an image of the affected fish? I am inclined to think you're seeing something other than a fungal infection.

Can you post a picture, fungus for salt water is quite rare and it might be a bacterial infection instead.
Im not sure about melafix, but I believe that works from what I read, so you can try it.
You can also try paraguard, kanaplex, sulfaplex (triple sulfa)
best of luck

@randy4083 I think I can see tiny white dots on parts of the body (like below). Is this an accurate observation on my part?

But then in other areas, I think I see flukes (below).

Like I said I just ordered kanaplex and metroplex from Amazon that will be here in 2 days so hopefully whatever it is these 2 things together will take care of it because whenever any of my fish have had itch and stuff they didn't eat until treated with cupramine copper and there eating still so who really knows

Could it be a wound inflicted by an anemone/coral, or I think I see an urchin in the background? Or possibly he got scraped up in the rocks...

While you're waiting for those to come in, I would start soaking his food in vitamins to boost the immune system: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/vitamins-herbal-remedies.304287/

We can reevaluate his condition once the antibiotics arrive.
