so I had some alk problems recently that I have fixed. My bta wasn't looking so good after the drop of alk. I slowly got it back up and maintaing it. Bta stayed shriveled up. Anyway it has been missing for a few days now. I have not seen any issues with coral, fish or inverts. I am assuming it is dead but i always thought nems tend to nuke tanks when they die. It is a 125gal tank and the bta was about 3.5 inches when open. Maybe it was too small to make an affect on my system? I had the nem for over a year. I have not checked water other then my cal, mag, and alk. Mainly because I am lazy with the other tests unless I see a problem. I new the nem probably wouldn't make it so I have been watching it while raising alk. Anyway I want to know if it is normal not to see any issues after it disappearing. It has been missing for about 5 days. I have been watching tank looking for it thinking maybe it moved but no signs

Test your No3.
It's probably hiding in or under a rock, while I might be starving.
I just hope your laziness wouldn't kill your anemone.

Well it's not as much lazyness with testing no3 and po4 as it is I am color blind and have allot of trouble seeing the colors. But based on they way my corals look I am very confident that they both are in check. And it was fine up until the alk issue
