Bulkhead advice where to buy pvc…

Looking to plumb my new 200 gallon tank and need to buy some bulkheads that don’t cost 60$ a piece…
Looking for pvc bulkheads not abs the abs ones suck and you need special glueing methods I’m not interested in doing any ideas?

Get threaded, and don't skimp on the price. Lifegard Aquatics makes good quality bulkheads.

Easier to disassemble of needed and if you ever need to move the tank, you'll probably want to be able to set it on a flat surface once the plumbing is disconnected from the sump.

I do threaded on the nut side, slip on the flange side, but only so I don't need to worry about accidentally loosening the bulkhead if I need to remove the drain pipes.

A gate is pretty much a must unless you're ok with a lot of noise from the overflow.

Yah definitely want the tank to be silent the tank has its recommendations

You'll want unions on each of the drains - to help disassemble without cutting PVC. Anywhere along the pipe is fine.
