I just bought my first acrylic tank used. I was wondering if anyone had experience cleaning tanks, as I am afriad to scratch it. I need to clean it before I set it up, but I also dont know how to clean it for regular maintenance.
Any experience here?

If it's to scrape off, use water mixed with vinegar... I would actually recommend putting water mixed with vinegar in the tank, and allow it to sit to break down the coraline. And scrape with a CC.

Oh, it's the CreditCard. As far as getting off the scratches you can do 1 of 2 things.... Get that acrylic buffer from your LFS or go to the everclear website (pricey). But that stuff is good... It will run you a good $100 and some elbow grease but it will make your acrylic look brand spanking new.
