Coral ID and location advice

Bought this guy from my lfs like 2 weeks ago and he opened a lot the first day but now closes up he says it's a stylo but I thought those branched out kinda like birdsnest and didn't encrust like that. Also he's been barely open since I've got him any tips? First photo is the day I got him second photo is today
