Growing up in Chicago it was called Bean Bag Toss. Didn't hear it called Corn Hole until I moved south. Now, even the people I grew up with who still live around Chicago call it Cornhole.

We had our annual cornhole / bags tournament today!! Never sure what to call it... what do you call this game in your state?
Somehow I missed my invite. :(

It's ok, the 1k mile drive may have made it impractical. :p

You're in Minnesota, we call it bag toss here!

It's also pop, not "soda".
A water fountain, not a "bubbler".
Hot dish, not "casserole".

Any other word is just not right, don'tcha know.

The similar game I have seen down here in Louisiana, they use these huge heavy metal washers and not the bean bags. Not sure what the heck they call it, because I don't see it often.

I always feel sorry for the people that take orders at fast food restaurants that serve Pepsi. Typical exchange all day long...

"What would you like to drink?"
"Coke."
"Is Pepsi ok?" :)
It's just called "washers" around here, Texas.
Usually has 3 holes in the target with different points. Or, you can sink a tuna can in the ground and use that to play.
Also, theyre all cokes! if you want a CocaCola that's what you ask for, lol.

And I think washateria is regional to the south as well.

Used to drive my friend who grew up in Canada crazy, when I would say "Im fixing to ..."

Yeah, "washers." That's what I have heard before. I am almost in Texas. Only about 30 miles east of the border. Kinda on the outskirts of both states. :)

It’s all a coke!

And it’s YINZ! Not you all, or ya’ll, or yous guys.

I just learned this from some friends who lived in Pittsburgh... I'm still confused lol :)

Who won??

Well, ultimately our Ops Manager Jim beat EVERYONE. He's a serious cornholer, like on-a-league-serious! :p But for the tournament, Alex from accounting and @randyBRS won!!

That's a funny looking beer mug that the statue is holding, and it is definitely at risk of being spilled.

Are you guys sure you were playing Cornhole correctly?
