I have several pounds of dry marco rock I purchased from PA that I want to add to my dt. The rock looks really clean, but I've heard this rock is notorious for phosphate leaching. I put the rock in a tub of ro/di water with a lot of kalkwasser thinking that would help rid it of phosphate. I have since read about using a hydrochloric acid bath on the rocks...will my kalk bath work or should I go ahead and do the acid bath?
