@Hemmdog

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the zeovit reactor. :)

I already have the reactor, but it’s too tall for my sump area, so changing out and refilling the stones will be a big hassle. In my opinion, making tasks sustainable and easy to accomplish will result in people doing them. :)

I am willing to play it out and see how it works. If I don’t like the results, I will consider a DIY reactor.

Small update.

Still going low nutrients.

The only small update is that I won’t use Zeovit to achieve my goals. The only reason I wanted to go zeovit is because I thought that the ticket to preventing dinos was to use them, which is not true IMO.

Tomorrow is my birthday. :)

Waiting... waiting... waiting... deep breath... waiting...
What does this mean? You gotta be blunt with me because I can’t read between the lines.

Isn't the whole ultra-low nutrient thing dead on arrival these days?
I suppose it’s out of the trend, but I like ULN. I am not trying to make my tank fit into the latest fad. :)

Just look at this tank: A Reef In The Sky:

This is EXACTLY the aesthetic I am seeking.
@Roberto Denadai is another PHENOMENAL example of a tank I would like to replicate.

I’m pretty set on what I am trying to achieve. :)

Have you checked out all of @ycnibrc ’s build thread? His tank was incredible before the power outage. It’s still incredible but it was out of this world. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/aaa-dragon-360g-zeovit-staghorn-dominate-reef.274960/page-24

@Hemmdog

I wanted to tell you that I got the zeovit reactor to work perfectly for my needs. I replaced the default pump (too strong) to a Sicce 1.0 and I drilled a hole in the PVC to make sure the reactor would be held in place to be shaken.

Now I can confidently say I’m using full zeovit! :)

Edit: Here’s the zeovit reactor and the acro update.
