1. Did a 3 day blackout

2. dosed refresh every day (Dr. Tim plan)

3. Took black bags off tank

4. There’s a couple strands of dinos still on the rocks

Question: should I black out for another day or two until there’s no strands or could they continue to die out as I continue the Dr. Tim’s treatment?

+1 IMO blackouts will not stop Dino’s1 they will be back a few days as soon as your lights come on. Get your nutrients up and they will go away.

10ppm nitrate; 0.1ppm phosphate
This should be enough to battle both dinoflagellates and cyanobacteria. What test do you use - can you confirm your readings in any way? I would test to mechanical remove the few patches you have and see what´s happen.
