DIY Control Board. Show me what you got and how you did it!

I just got my first Neptune apex pro, DOS and trident. I got it set up, but I kind of wish I waiting to set up a control board first so I don’t have to unplug and rewire everything.

ANYWAYS! I need some inspiration on some of your DIY cabinet builds. I was looking at a kitchen cabinet at Lowe’s that I thought might make a good cabinet for my apex. I need it to be under 23” wide. Please show me what YOU did and if you don’t mind, explain how you did it. I’m stressing myself out over it.. THANK YOU!

I know it's not DIY but that adaptive reef board looks nice.
I have one coming soon from winning in the partner drive. Only problem for me is figuring out where I'm going to put it lol

I copied the adaptive reef board to fit my stand. I used 1/2” plywood, glue and a nail gun. Cut holes and slots as I saw fit. About $10 worth of materials. Painted it white to match my stand.

man I wish I was that crafty. I may just binge some tutorials on how to build a cabinet and customize my own.

I made both of these outgrew the one under the tank rather quickly. It’s fun to do but man what a mess running the wires.

I have cable organizers on the back and routed all wires through those so nothing was visible on the inside either. This box comes out by removing two screws.

Hello - finally got apex...Its not the sexiest controller board but its super compact

Starting a new tank (Planet Aquariums 70 Edge) and I got an apex. I wanted it advanced and compact. I didnt want anything spilling out of the stand as this will be my main display in my living room. This meant I HAD to have everything inside the cabinet including ATO. I have plenty on tanks...

Thanks! Just wood and plexiglass from Home Depot nothing to fancy. that top lifts off and the backs accessible on the white one. I learned from the black one as it looked cool but was a pain if I needed to do anything. I just couldn’t find anything in the dimension I wanted so I made my own.
