Diy protein skimmer

Hey guys. I just finished my protein skimmer. Here's a look at it. I used a pretzel jar. Some pvc a cheap pump from Amazon and an elastic cord jar from harbor freight. It was all random stuff I had laying around. This is my final design after weeks of trial and error. Hopefully it works for a while at least.

I'm guessing under $40 if you had to buy it all. I'll probably switch the valve out for a gate valve. I didn't glue any of the pvc for cleaning purposes.
