4 days ago we added a Foxface to our 110 mixed reef tank with ample swimming room. It picks at items here and there, but is not eating enough and is beginning to thin out.

Initial stress lasted 2 days with tank mates, but tank has calmed down. Stress was between it and a brown Scopus.

I have nori on a clip which it goes to and picks at - along with other grown gha and what I think is cyano. Doesn’t eat any of the pellet food and gets stressed when I add algae pellets…spits out frozen mysis as well.

Just worried.

Look for some live food. White worms, black worms or as a last resort brine shrimp. It might just produce a feeding response.

Thanks - I tried some frozen brine shrimp and he would eat every 3rd one he tasted. I know it’s hungry - and there’s tons of options in the tank.

I’ll go get some live as soon as I can and try that as well.
