Got sick of scraping the coralline off the acrylic for hours and decided to break down the 240 and replace it with glass. Here's a quick build thread. I'll post some current pics when the lights come on today.
Thanks for looking,
Tom

Out with the old:

Had to do some re-plumbing. Stinkin' braces were in the wrong place:

This is where all the corals/fish/anemones lived for awhile and weren't too happy:

Brad and Jason from GLA popped the new one on the tank like it was nothin'::

Sand is in and what a mess:

Plumbing's done, temp light hanging (still need to go to HD)and I fired it up. What a S#!+ Storm!:

Trimmed out and lit up with some of the corals in. Waiting for the Son to show up to help me with scaping:

Pics are blurry, but you get the idea. Man am I glad that's done. I ran the Magnavore over the front, back and sides in about 20 minutes to get the dust off. What a pleasure.

Your tank looks amazing! Hoping one day I will have the place to have a room just for tank set up and maintenance.

Great work!

Was this setup in the same place, or did you set up this spot for the new tank

same spot, but I beefed up the stand, sold all but one of the fish and redid the plumbing.

7-8" Hippo. He always got p;icked on from the Powder Blue and never bothered anybody. Now he's in heaven with all docile and much smaller fish. Always out in the open now.

Thanks! They keep moving on me, though. That rock is only half full of 'em today. The other two nems went to the rock with the Pocillipora. And I lost one in the back to the Tunze. Things are always changing in there.

Thanks for the compliments, Folks! Motivates me to keep it clean. My son did the aquascaping so I'll pass that along. The rbta's don't like to stay put, but usually hop between the rbta island and the green pocillipora rock. Always keeps me guessing.

Some updated pictures from 2013. I've since broken down 135, transferred the fish and some corals. Sold off the rest.
New fish list:
2x hippos
Yellow tang
Blonde Naso Male
Timini Tang
Female Bellus angel
Christmas Wrasse
9 x Occy Clowns
Yellow watchman gobi and pistol shrimp
Purple Tang
Diadema psuedo
Foxface
The Mint Paly's have pretty much taken over, but some corals are staging a comeback. Nuclear Greens, Pocillapora, frogspawn and various other softies are trying.
Thanks for looking and sorry about the spelling,
