Is that ceramics that you used for your aquascaping? It looks great if so and did you have a problem with them leaching silicates when you first put them in?

Hallo Eric
Yes its riffkeramik from korallenwelt.
You must start a little bit different whit keramik.
First 2 weeks only freshwater and silicate Absorber.
Than new freshwater for 1 week whit fresh Absorber.
Then you kan make the Salt in water.
2 another weeks no Light and Absorber in filterbag direct in Tank.
Another 2 weeks only Blue light maximum 6 hours a day.
So did I due it .
I have not much Algae in Tank but I must dosing KH.

Cool thanks for the response and figured it was just by the different shapes that you had used. I followed "Mo's Reef" over on Ultimate reef and he also used ceramics in a large tank from korallenwelt and I love the way they look and once I set up a larger system again I might steer towards going that route. Tank looks awesome by the way and can't wait to see pics while it's maturing over time.

Willkommen bei R2R, sehr schöne Tank vor, Her Markus.
Mein Deutsch ist nicht mehr was es vor 25 Jahren LOL.
Secondly, awesome tank.
Can you tell us bit more about your tank, Why you have so many filter socks?
Is there a reason why you stuck your heater in the tank and not in the sump?
What kind of valve is that in the fourth pic from your drain pipes?
The rock looks man made, from what is it made if so or is it natural dry liverock?

What kind of wave maker is this?
