My tank is 1 month old (32.5 gallon Fluval flex marine). I have 4 pieces of live rock (2 transferred from old tank, 2 new) and 7 coral (3 torch, an acan, a hammer, a small frag of zoanthid and alevopora), and 2 margarita snails. There are also 2 clownfish and one yellow watchman goby.

I’ve been slowly adding to the tank over the month and today spotted something new in my tank. The newest additions were this weekend… 1 torch, the goby and the 2 snails.

What the heck is this (videos below)? Is it a hitchhiker? Is it bad for my tank?

Looks like some food or something. If you have a turkey baster, try blowing it out. Just based on how it seems to be moving with the water, I don't think it's a hitchhiker, I think it's just some junk that got caught in the rocks.

Thanks! I’ll give that a go when I get home.
