Ammonia?
Ammonia is the single most important test you can do on a new aquarium imo. Even very low levels of ammonia can kill fish. The reef kit is a supplement kit to be used in addition to the salt water kit.I haven't tested for that. The reef test kit never came with it. Could it be ammonia?
Advantages and disadvantages to both. It's just a matter of understanding each.So should how big of a water change should I do. Also which is better for coral. Instant ocean salt or reef crystals
Your calcium is also very high. Did you recently do a water change? What is your salinity? If you haven't been dosing but have been using those salts I'm guessing it is very high. Also your alk is at the top of what's safe.
Are you sure it is 1.24 and not 1.024?Salinity is 1.24 should I use the reef crystals instead of the salt?
