It's very rewarding, dont quit when it gets bad or tough. Research, ask questions, all of the above. Simply put, be patient, dont rush to add fish/coral, do your cycle properly. Monitory your chemistry regularly, get into that habit. Also get into the habit of performing maintenance, etc. A bit of work in the beginning, but you'll get through it.

Thanks I have a 500 Gpd rodi unit i’m currently looking at a used 149.3 gallon tank and adding a 10 gallon sump with refugium. And a 5 pounds of live rock. 70 pounds of ocean direct sand.
