Homemade Skimmer

Hello Guys, I'm new on the Forum. I'm trying to make a skimmer to a reef with around 70 Gal.

Someone has some project about one skimmer to work with kind of tank?

Of course, I prefer step-by-step designs, but some draw or even ideas about are very welcome.

Sorry about my english, I'm Brazilian and know a bit of English.

well its an open canvas. You will need some 6 in acryilic tube and soem good acylic working skills. Also get ya good pump.

all honestly its almost cheaper to just go buy one. Agood pump will cost you about $100 Like a sicce psk 600 for example. there is $89 right there. I have made a few and Troylee has made some really nice units. I made mine to be more like the bubble kings and they cost me about $300 to $350 to build.

Indeed gave me some ideas, thanks Mojo. Just one sad detail. Acrilic parts in my region are very expensive, so I will start my tests with PVC. I've found some projects, and I will start one on this weekend. I will send some photos about the work.
