Cleaning the glass is my 12yr old daughter’s weekly chore. She does it Tuesday but by Sunday (day 5) it’s usually to a point that I start noticing it. By the following Tuesday (a full 7 days) it really needs it.
How often do y'all need to clean your tank glass??

Ya thats a weekly maintenance thing for me too, and most people I think? If the system is new for sure you get that light dusty green coating real quick, could take months in some systems to get over that. For me if I see that I need to do it before the end of the week it turns out my phos is running higher than usual. Not sure if that correlates but for me it always does, and its so predictable at this point that I can use that to let me know if I need to test nutrients.

Once per day with a mag flipper I wipe it clean.. only cause I’m anal about my tank being dirty lol
If I want to be able to see things clearly daily to every other day or tanks really start looking bad.
