IM Fusion Nuvo 25??? Or IM 50? Or....???

I currently have a Fluval Evo 13.5 which is really not a bad tank. But the hobby has taken me in a direction that I need more sandbed. I'm really loving Trachs Corals, Acans, and Chalices so floor space is important. Currently using the AI HD16 with the Evo. If I get a IM Nuvo 25 lagoon I can still use this light. It also almost doubles my flooring area.

I am somewhat considering the IM Nuvo 50 as well, and wonder if the AI HD 16 will still work. It might... As I really do not want more that 95-115 par on the center sandbed and 45-65 par on the edges... Thoughts on this? Anyone using a smaller light on the IM Nuvo 50.

Additionally, are there any other AIO type lagoon systems I should check out? 25-40 gallons if a true lagoon would be great.

If you go with the IM 50 lagoon you might want a second 16hd unless you want to run one light really high percentage.

With these lagoon tanks you really have to worry about spread. I have the IM 25 and at first I ran one Kessil 360WE. Tons of shading so i added another 360WE. It was two busy with two arms and a small tank so i got a Hydra 52 which now covers everything. If you get the 50 lagoon you'll have to add a second 16hd at a minimum IMO.

these things are shallow but have a lot of spread to cover. I think the max spread of the 16hd is like 24"x24", which you should really only do for softies. Even with softies, based on the footprint of the lagoon 50 you would need two of them. I honestly would run more than one of those in a lagoon 25

Got the 25! Building the stand for it tomorrow. Will use my AI HD16. Looking in to ATO's and heaters now.
