Is it possible to lower the water level in the display of waterbox 85.3 frag? I want to add a tunze wavebox and the water level in display has to be lower then 1 inch. Is this possible with a waterbox with a sump, any suggestions.

The water level in the tank will need to be high enough to enter the overflow... Idk what the plumbing situation is, but if you lower the drain pipe and if the weir slots are long/low enough, then the level of the tank (and overflow box) can be lower than it is now.

That being said, using a wavebox will void the Water box warranty. They are not recommended, especially on a rimless tank.

Any suggestions for a more natural flow
Depends on what you mean by "natural". "Natural" to the native environment? How do you determine what that is/was? Is it the same for all your corals? If not, which native environment do you decide to try to reproduce?
...I think you see my point.
We need to provide our coral with enough flow to bring them food and keep detritus from settling, but not so much that it keeps them from catching food or rips their flesh (applies to LPS usually).

Most coral does not require a back and forth, turbulent flow pattern. If you really want to achieve this, you can try syncing 2 powerhead/wavemakers/gyres so they pulse on opposite schedules.
