Is your sump clean? Does it have mold growing in it?

I noticed my aquarium tubing has a ton of various mold and bacteria in it. In a saltwater aquarium environment especially in an enclosed sump I realize mold and moisture is often unavoidable no matter what you do. I can’t be the only one right? As disgusting as it is. It was a pain in the butt to plumb so I never really planned on cleaning the tubing and it’s only in the actual tubing. Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do?

It happens to my uv filter tubing. I have since replaced with a green hose like my return. Doesn’t get near as bad. You could look into white tubing. That would still look nice on your set up plus it will block the light out.
