We ended up running two 4in in lines to the fish room. One for the fan and one for a fresh air intake. The ran I originally got was a piece of crap so I returned it and got a nicer one. Got one that is 150CFM and more heavy duty.

Found a 4in dampener on amazon I think its reptty cool for the fresh air intake.

Also decide to stop being lazy and put in a floor drain in the fish room. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting other then I really suck at concrete.

At the same time we ran the drain for the utility sink and put the water barrel stand in place.

I also sealed all the concrete on the walls of the fish room with a white water proofer. That stuff is like trying to paint with peanut butter.

I plan to epoxy the floors this week.

The entire project has been a bit slow because my buddy who is helping me with the electrical had a family emergency so we haven't been able to finish the outlets and ceiling lights for the bar room. I need that done before I can start putting equipment in the fish room and seeing how I like the layout.

Great project and progress!

I may have missed it - did you run some cable for ethernet connection in your fishroom? I no longe rely on wireless to connect my controller, have everything hard wired to the network.

I had not mentioned it but I did run ethernet cable. The ceiling is still unfinished and the wire is just waiting there for me.

Acid washed the concrete in the fish room in prep of the epoxy I’ll put to down in a couple days. Good news is the new floor drain works, bad news is it doesn’t slope to it as much as I thought it did.

Long night but got all the ceiling lights and up in the tank/bar room, baseboards up behind the tank, and gfi outlets behind where the tank goes.

The two outlets up high are for lights and a cooling fan. The middle weird section is the the drain lines hole that I have some insulation stuffed into, and the bottom outlets are for the wave makers and the last outlet is an Ethernet cable. 07444C8D-78C4-463B-AC87-AE2656A42797.jpeg

I think the green metal ceiling, beams and wall where the bar goes turned out really cool.

I have a big black industrial looking fan going in the middle of the room.

Been working on the floor in fish room the last two night. Yesterday sealed the edges and created a tiny bit of slope away from the walls toward the drain. Also created a barrier so if any water is in that room it doesn’t get under the drywall on the one side.
Then tonight I put down the epoxy. It was a good thing I had the fresh air I take and ran in that room because it out off some major fumes. Happy how it turned out.

Decided to tee off a vent incase i ever want some air in the fish room and added an additional light in the ceiling before I finish the ceiling. Also had another couple bags of sound absorbing insulation leftover from the main room so I added it to the ceiling (not pictured).
