I am very new to the hoppy and recently pruchase a mature system. The live rock has coraline on it which I understand is a good thing. Had the system for two weeks, one crab, one fox face, one damsel. The pinkish/red color just developed some lighter spots. I didn't add anything new and the nitrate level is 0. Salt level is 1.023ish. Not sure what to do. Would appreciate some help.
Thanks

Pictures might help? No urchins or snails in there that might be eating the coralline? Did you purchase lighting with the system or did you change the fixture?

Welcome to R2R! +1 to stated above; answering these questions can help us in helping you. Also, did you add any rock recently (like perhaps with a coral frag or some additional rock)? Coralline comes in different colors, and different colors typically do better under different lighting schemes.

Astertina stars will also consume coraline. They're tiny white star fish.
