she does have something about her
i think hes doing it for the image and a provocative campaign
seeing that obama has the black thing now mccain has the female thing
just making things more "historic"
but youre right, she is hot for some reason

1) She's hawt for a governor. Not as hawt as the second picture though...plus she's had 5 kids.

2) She's a horrible choice given her experience level. I'd hardly call her brief stint as Governor a lot of executive exprience.

I knew it was a real longshot, but I was hoping he'd have chosen Huckabee. I saw him speak at a local church and that guys is amazing.

I think I would rather have a inexperienced VP then an inexperienced president.
So far I have not seen enough out of ether campaign to make a choice but Obama has ALOT of talking to do before i would be willing to join his cause

Why does the phrase "Naughty Librarian" pop into my mind when I see her.

On topic though, I'm not sure what the motive behind this choice was yet. And you can bet that there is a serious alterior motive at work here, after all it is politics!

WOW! SHe is smokin hot!

I heard that she has a downs syndrome child, as crass as this is going to sound, I think that was a factor in McCain's decision. I can't stand McCain, he represents OLD school politics, which has the USA in the worst shape ever. I think an inexperienced President is PERFECT, Obama has not been influenced in the old ways... (Or the DARK side, if you prefer.)

I heard her nickname in basketball, a point guard I think, was Sarah the Barracuda. Could we see her in a shootout vs. Bidden in one of the debates? :)
I do not know much about her, one thing for sure this will be an historical change either way.

Do some research, he is related to the dark side....they all are! This election is no different from the last...do you like dummy A in the red or dummy B in the blue.

Counting down when Bush leaves the office is my happy place right now.=)

McCain picked as a running mate someone who was a small town mayor and the governor of Alaska for a short time.
Not someone I would think would be qualified to be one heartbeat (or lack of) away from the button.

As opposed to what? A guy that was a senator for a year and a few months from Illinois before he started to run for President? That's some great experience going there! It is far more critical to have someone with experience in the hot seat of the president then the Vice President. Obama would be eaten alive in any conference with those that are in charge of Militant muslim states like Iran, or even Venezuela or Cuba etc.. The vice president position is far less important then the president.....

An so what if McCain dies The president has 100's of people around him to give him the choices to make.People give the position of presidency to much credit, those that are in the Legislature have far more power to effect our lives then The presidency.

....Her expirance as a mayor of any town and that of Governor of the largest state in the union is far more important then a 1 1/2 as a senator who hasn't done anything or had any bills passed with his name on them as author....I like how the media and Dems are already talking about abortion as if Women are not smart enough or have more concerns then that single position.
Are they really that simple? I think not at least the one I am married to is far more dynamic then a single issue and has far more concerns then abortion. As if that is the be all end all for women....

I don't like McCain all that much but he is far better then the socialist liberal that is running for office on the Dem side.......The problem is both parties have lost the purpose of why they are there....
Ronald Regan once said" I don't care about who gets credit if it's right for the country."

That is what we need to get back to, I think here in the near future there will be the opening for a positive third party that isn't on the fringe of either party or on the fringe of extremism.

It is obvious that,, that issue was the main reason she was picked.

I agree with you 100% on that, and will welcome the change.

And my wife already has no use for her based on that very issue.

When voting for McCain, it is VERY important who the VP is, as I don't think any of us would be surprised if he didn't make it through a term. Unfortunately for Big Mc, this pick pretty much eliminates any "lack of experience" mud he can throw at Obama.

If age is an issue please follow this logic, The CDC recently updated the life expectancy of the American male to 77.6 years, lets just say 77, I hate fractions. Age of Barack is 45, McCain 70. In 1958 the congress enacted "The Former Presidents Act" , basically this sets the retirement package for being a President at $191,300.00 per year, lifetime. I wish I could retire after four years. Anyway counting just 4 years of presidency for each Barack and John, this leaves John at 74ish, and Barack at 49ish upon leaving office. I am not counting a second term in my figures, I hate math. So the difference in amount of years from leaving office and the average life expectancy of 77, John is 3 years, Barack is 28 years. So John lives 3 years collecting 191,300.00 annually and Barack lives another 28 years collecting 191,300.00 annually. This is a tax burden I can not afford, Barack will cost me 5,356,400.00! John only will cost me 573,900.00 :) The choice for me is clear.
~disclaimer ~ I have not figured in current health conditions, current medications, eating habits, stress levels at home, blood types, inseam, favorite color, all very important info in forecasting life expectancy, and this dosent matter cause she is hot. Anyone that can raise 5 kids is overqualified to be President of the world.
