What is the minimum time fish can be exposed to prazipro for it to be effective?
I am doing tank transfer and I just dosed prazipro prophylactically 5 hours before I transfer tanks.
I have a finicky twin spot Goby and male spotted mandarin undergoing TTM and I really don't want them to go through 24 hours of prazi.
From researching it online and in forums, it doesn't seem like they need a very long exposure. Most say 24 hours.
However, praziquantel works immediately on flukes and worms so essentially anything on the fish should immediately come off and then die within the water column or bottom of tank.
Any thoughts? Humblefish?
