Well at least for me It popped up when I opened up my Mobius app. Try it on yours! I am updating my wavemakers and pump right now.

just FYI, the update process will shut down the devices during update.

Forgot to mention, please ensure you are home and have access and view of your tank. After the update, my pumps and wavemakers speed were automatically set to super high for me and I had to dialed them down quickly.

Yep, I was also able to update my legacy device. (Vortech MP40wG3QD) Took me about 10-15mins.
I can finally create a schedule with the different modes without the need of ReefLink

Mine updated also though I called them a few weeks ago and asked to be on the list which they did for me. I never had any problems with my Reef Link. Out of the 5 MP 40's I have two of them I had to purchase the new chips for.

No I didn’t. I bought mine early this year which already came with the new chip but no Mobius firmware.

I have never owned reeflink so I can’t say.

You cannot control the WXM with mobius nor can you see mobius in the WXM or vice versa... if thats what your asking.

So essentially if you do not update or roll back, WXM still works?

Oh yes. Dont do anything to your MPpumps or G4 lights or older. Keep using them as is. If you have a Ecotech return pump or new G5 lights just add those to Mobius and ignore the MPpumps and lights. Let the WXM continue to control the MPpumps and lights. Basically if you are going to use Mobius when you are in I guess "discover mode" it will show all available devices that you can control with Mobius. At that point it will ask to update a device. Just dont update or add those devices you want the WXM to continue to control.
