Currently have 2 MP40s in my 60G cube with one on back towards right and one on left glass close to middle.

Both connected to a WXM and ran as below screenshot. Seems like may be too much flow for this tank? Mostly zoas and LPS.

Any suggestions on a cubed tank on how to run these? Is there a thread that shares some custom settings for MP40s?

I run 2 mp40s on my 65 gal 3 ft. long tank. I run them no higher than 4-5 lights from lowest setting.

I have a similar tank setup. Tried the following:
One on back left, one on back right: Too much flow on the left and right, no flow in the middle. Flow felt not "random" just gyre like along the left and right glass

One on left glass, one on back right (like yours): Right side is getting hammered with flow, left side and middle don't have enough flow

One on left glass and one on right glass: Intersecting flows giving a nice random element. Pump on the right is pushed a little farther towards the back and the left towards the front. SPS is positioned higher near to the direct flow, LPS is lower and gets a nice gentle sway

The current schedule in mobius:
Left pump parent, right pump child
Parent:
8 pm-8 am: 10% lagoon
8 am - 10 am: 20% Tidal Swell
10 am - 1 pm: 20% Reefcrest
1 pm - 3 pm: 20% Nut Trans
3 pm - 6 pm: 20% Reefcrest
6 pm - 8 pm: 20% Tidal Swell
Child:
8 pm - 8 am: 10% Antisync
8 am - 8 pm: 20% Antisync

I may try your setup to see how it works. Do you have a FTS of your tank you can share?

any other suggestions? want to get different settings and placements from others who have had success with mixed reef or SPS. Want to play around with suggestions until I find one that I like for the tank! Thanks all!

I run one in constant speed and the other in reef crest, that’s what Coral Labs recommends and what WWC runs in their tanks. Always seemed weird to me it’s buried in the documentation:

I think they are to large for your size tank. I have a 40 gal running an mp 10 at 1/4 speed random and it works fine. Maybe just run one of the mp40
