Soo. Been a hot minute. School, work, moving…..you know normal crazy.

My tank half crashed and I lost all my hammers, octospawn, frogspawn, goniopora, Alveopora, some zoas, my scoly, mushrooms, and a few other things.

The tank was having issues after the move…and then I was having issues.

BUT! I’m back…testing tank changing water and putting in the work!

I decided that it was time to buy more corals about two weeks ago and hit up the love of my life @Pieces of the Ocean auction on reefnbid.com

Yes I won stuff and yes I spent more money than I intended.

Oh… my nem is doing great…so great I’ve sold three offspring to the local shop….which leaves me with 8 still

Now….my @Pieces of the Ocean order came in today….so like any reasonable person I took today and tomorrow off. Her are a few pictures of the new additions- yet to fully settle obviously

I’m currently sitting I. The parking lot of the local shop (thought it opened at 11 ….. but it opens at 12)

I’m about 8-9weeks away from finishing my MBA so yeah!

Can’t promise to spend hours on here but I will be checking in more frequently

I started in March with a Biocube 16 gallon AIO. I found myself already wanting a bigger tank. I was looking at a Fiji 32. I didn’t want to spend that much. Than I got on Facebook at the beginning of last week and found this tank, 70 gallon flat back hex mad out of acrylic. Priced at 400! Including a 20 gal long sump and all the fixings! I couldn’t pass it up. So now begins the journey of cleaning it, adding a internal overflow (eshopps eclipse medium), building a new stand base, and getting it all in the tank! The tank also came with the corals the guy had and a mini maxi nem. Currently all the coral is sitting in a 10 gallon tank with heat and flow. Today I plan on building the stand. And getting the tank up and running. I already installed the eshopps over flow. I still need to remove some coraline algae that’s stuck to the acrylic. Soak all power heads and get them clean! Along with the pump. I’ll have to replumb the over flow.
