I’ve found that the corals have better PE and better color around 4-6 No3 and .02-.06 Po4 So I try to live in that range. I feed heavy to maintain and also add Acropower 2x a week for aminos.

I get them from Rock Hard Reef. They are 100% reef safe.

Lighting over this tank is an 8 bulb T5 fixture with 2 ReefBrite XHO Strips. Bulb Combo is 6 B+ and 2 ACT. I feed heavy and try to maintain nutrients around 5 No3 and .03-.06 Po4. Alk is 8.1 - 8.2, Calc 450, Mag moves but is around 1400ish.

Which do you recommend? I just got a GHL KH Director and 2.1 stand alone doser and I'm highly unimpressed with both the quality of the product and the customer service. If my issues don't get resolved this week its getting returned so I'm open for suggestions.

You think RR Angry Birds is tough, try to grow TGC Angry Birds. I have two colonies now and they are rarely colored up. Pickiest coral I own. HW needs LOTS of flow and 350-450 par to be happy.

I’m running my Alkatronic for more than 6 months now. Had some parts issue but they solved pretty quick. It’s been solid after that.
