Looks good, but anthias are schooling fish and do best in groups, and they require bigger tanks anyway.

@14g Nano They also do best when fed multiple times throughout the day, so you need a good nutrient export system.

I just read all 20 pages....Why? I have no idea.

But I did want to post in this epic 20 page 1 day thread.

FWIW, I think the Op was just trolling all of us.
There should be a badge for getting to the end of this thread.
Something like Master Thread Reader.

For your nano moving forwards I suggest you leave it fallow for the 80 days to ensure any ich is gone.

Maintain it by keeping nitrate around 5-10 and phosphate at 0.05 or so in case of Dino risk

Also do your top up daily.

Use small qty carbon and change over every couple weeks.

Don’t scrub rocks or disturb the tank.
If you have excess algae reduce the photoperiod. The chaeto should be out competing it.

If you are going to use it as a QT tank then you need to wait until fallow period is over before moving corals to new tank.

I’m not trolling
Since I have all of you could I have
Dwarf angel
Clownfish
Fire fish
Goby shrimp pair
In a 40

That’s a very good, easy and fun stock list.

As long as you provide ample rock work for the fire fish to hide if the angels or clowns chase him for a second. Otherwise they’re prone to jump.

I’ll just leave it as a coral only tank for now but I can still add coral right?

Anyway I’ll just continue to set up the 40

Corals should be fine if it was a parasite, but I would probably hold off for a week or so to make sure there isn't something else going on.

Masochist badge.

I think that should be reserved for those crazies who are trying to do a small barebottom, Negative space aquascape. Did I mention I'm going a 15 gallon barebottom NSA tank... it's going to be the never ending cycle tank. o_O

Seeings you added the tank recently and two weeks later this happened, it may have introduced some parasite into the tank. I’ve made the same mistake of not quarantining, and am now battling an inch outbreak in my 13.5 nano reef.
