Looking good, Roberto.
What are the dimensions of the new tank?
Will you continue with the same equipment from the previous tank?

Tank : 43*28*18

I´m using a powerful skimmer , octopus 3000 space saver and I´m going to try a full Led this time with a Brazilian brand . I did some tests and both the PAR and spectrum are better than Hydras

Are you using matrix and siporax in your new tank? How about bottles of sand?

In this tank just matrix and some live rocks in the sump. My No3=0 and P04 = 0.00, I feed my fish a lot but always zero

What’s the plan with spectrum, intensity, PAR, photo period, peak period, etc.

Hi Roberto,
Following along for another masterpiece!

Silly question are you still feeding this new tank twice a day with pellets and flake and if so how much ?
Your photoperiod is 10hr a day with 8hr peak of 400 to 300 par 1hr ramp up and down on each side?

Many thanks

Hi,

I´m using 12 hours in my 4 bars and just 6 hours for the other 3x LED. I´m keeping around 300-500

I´m feeding a little bit more , pellets , flakes, and this time with fish eggs at night. How much is difficult to say, but I feed a lot , since my no3=0 and po4 = 0.00

I also bought 9 small fish ( 4x blenny, 3x pseudochromis Fridmani, 1x wrasse and 1x coral beauty )

Some pics , Leds and some Frags :

I love this bird, sun conure is my favorite . Congrats man !
Me too. I got him as a little baby, and I handfed him myself. I love taking him outside and to grocery stores with his leash. Sun Conures remind me of Brazil.

Speaking of Brazil, how’s the heat wave over there? It was dangerously hot these past few days.

you said before:
Maybe there is a correlation between the new skimmers generation and dinoflagellates. A lot of people are buying huge skimmers for small tanks. It makes no sense to me. Huge skimmers can rip out everything from water and maybe dinos can take advantage.

And now you are using skimmer for 3000 liter tank?

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
