My respect for Reefers has grown dramatically since I undertook this endeavor of plumbing a new basement sump for my existing 90g display and new 60g frag tank! It’s a great accomplishment to run a successful aquarium, but quite another thing to keep improving your aquarium and taking this hobby to the next level. This Reefing community makes this possible!

I started with a RSR 425 XL which pretty much is plug and play. Now I’m trying to set up a basement sump with 2 different displays, quickly realizing the many challenges of making this work.

I have come to appreciate this group’s many additional talents (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, etc.) which they also freely share. Reading the many informative upgrade threads on R2R has given me the confidence to undertake this endeavor. Should I have a question or something goes wrong, I know where to turn for help!

Thank you R2R community and Happy Holidays!
