Actually yes. I passed on about 50 of them :(. It was not on my radar to pickup so I did not think to grab any.

On to some eye candy of corals now. These pictures are just SOME of the pieces we selected so far to bring back. Our goal is 30 boxes to bring back with us and right now we stand at about 3. But as we move along we are getting into the bigger and bigger pieces so the box count will go up significantly. :)

I can't even imagine trying to pick with that kind of selection. What an amazing adventure this is. Thanks for keeping us updated. Can't wait to see more picks!

Now the real pictures are coming in. I literally just shot these about 45 mins ago in the dark at the last farm of the night.

1. How do they control the temp of the water with it being so hot?
2. What kind of lighting is used over these coral?
They don't. Since we are on the equator the temp stays around 80 almost all year round in the shade. The humidity is the killer.

Lighting virtually none. The vats are lighted with blue plastic roof shields. I will get pictures today of a farms roof system. Maybe a farm has one or two lights bur basically none.
Wow...that trigger is beautiful.

Awesome! Have fun, guys :)
Making the transition from wild to captive kept is the biggest challenge for any coral IMHO. If you find a good source that has helped the specific corals through that process then you are on the right track.
Absolutely spot on. You can replace the word "coral(s)" with "fish(es)" in the same manner.

Hello from your hometown friend! I'm glad to have stumbled upon your businessmoon thread and glad to hear it's going well. I could make an inappropriate comment about being sweaty is typical for a Honeymoon, but I guess I won't.

Justva quick update and also a disclaimer. The p9ctures and corals I post are NOT for sale at all. I have not tried to use or promote the name of any business for a reason. R2R reached out to me and said they wanted to remove the thread because i was not a sponsor. I just wanted to be clear that going forward nothing is for sale and i am not trying to hawk coral online. I think even in my intro i said i prefer person to person sales and not shipping anything.

Another reason for lack of posts is exactly what someone suggested. Upload speeds here suck. Where things lack in internet they makeup for in corals and views.

I have some killer posts and photos ready i just keep getting failure messages when trying to upload them. So standy patiently because we are hitting some other hotels soon.

Here are some cell phones pics

I cannot tell you how many times we have been asked for pictures. It is really odd IMHO i mean we are just regular people but all over the place we gey stopped and asked for pictures. Of course wy wife and i oblige all the time as i do not want to make anyone upset.

We have flown from island to island and back to Bali a few times because some places have like a specialty of sorts while others just have a wonderful assortment. I have a crap ton of videos to post so hopefully i can start posting them like soon.

People are asking to take photos with you? I hear that happens a lot in Asian countries where not many foreigners come in. It's a rarity to see Caucasians I guess
