Nero 5 rust

Nero 5 less than a year old. The back cover poped off reveling what looks like a rusted metal washer. Now I’m having trust issues with the other Nero’s in the tank. Anyone else have this issue?

owned 3 nero's and haven't had this occur to any of them. only ever had issues with 1 pump, and it was negligence on my end for not cleaning it often enough.
