@Flippers4pups And @Fudsey - I think she was chasing and flashing at her reflection. However, I have 2 options at the ready. A divider for the 40 breeder. Or I have a 20 for her to separate her. Will check on them before bed and first thing in the morning. Hoping because they were added at the same time she will be good!
She was eating nori really well already tonight.

Also - I just pulled the algae out. Looks like a clump of hair algae covered in cyano....super weird! And only in that one spot!

Algae in the overflows, all the time. It's the only place in my system that it grows. Cyanobacteria in there too, can happen.

I had a pipe overflow in my last tank. Lol. So I didn’t think to look.

Now I know. Lol.

Does anyone ever clean overflows? Or just the tops of them and let the rest be?

Detritus settles at the bottom of mine, never clean it out. Amphipods run around and breed in mine. Algae growth, when I notice it, I use a brush to clean it out.

New Additions and updates!!

The main tank is going great! The only weird thing is that I just cleaned the sand last week, and now it is really brown on the top again - almost like another diatom bloom. Tank has been set up since January.

The tangs are finally eating after 1.5 week of hunger strike from my Naso! Eating like pigs! Excited and nervous about my trigger. I have ready 400 stories about them being the most amazing fish even in a reef tank and model citizens, and 400 stories about them turning evil after 2 years of peace or eating other fish or things like that. So, for me, this is a dream fish, and it is worth the risk. She is only about 2.5" so I am hoping by raising her from a pup she will be ok! We will see!

Nice update. I enjoyed seeing the fishroom again. Are all the critters named after Disney? All of our critters are after a character but not all Disney.

Thanks! Mostly Disney!
Except for scooter (the scooter dragonette)
And Oscar (flame hawk). He looks like a muppet - so kinda Disney. Lol.
The rest are:
Marlin & Nemo
Nick and Judy (zootopia)
Tigger (ok, so not Disney either)
Fantasia
Flash....flash 100 mike dash (zootopia)
Stubby (oh crud - he’s not Disney either! His fins were all but off from his “partner” and he lost all his fins. They grew back, but stubby remains).
And now
Simba
Eva and
Malificent.

Omg! The boys were playing...they are in their laundry basket train and asked us to push them - they were going on a tour of Reef Town to see all the fishies!! Pretending every room is full of an ocean! ❤️❤️

Nice! Where can I purchase a ticket?
