I need suggestions on what to try next. I’ve had this Duncan almost a week and it’s stayed closed up. It opened up the first day and then has been closed since. I saw it open up the 2nd night i had it but then the next morning when the lights came on it closed back up and hasn’t opened up since. I thought maybe it was flow, or light, but I’ve moved it to a less flow area and have turned the lights down to no effect, after i moved it i brought them back up and still no reaction. I’ve tested everything i can as far as water quality and everything seems fine.

The base looks healthy , keep it in a spot with moderate flow and moderate lighting. I know it’s tough but just let it open , the Duncan’s are my most finicky corals, and they close up easily and are easily ticked off sometimes. Be patient and don’t move it , and I bet there will be some improvement. My 128 head duncan closes up for days at a time and I know it’s just being finicky or growing. Good luck!
