Been lurking for a little a while, joined a few days ago, finally actually posting something.
I've had freshwater before, most recently a couple red belly piranhas but even that was 1 house and 5+ years ago. We're settled in what I hope is our home for a long time (moving stinks) so I started looking and researching and found this site.
Not going to lie I'm a bit overwhelmed. At this rate I feel as though I might never get around to actually having a tank as I'm pretty sure every time I read a post I have to go search more posts to explain additional items. What I wanted/liked even before I saw the following tank ( https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/felicias-40b-mixed-reef-predator-tank.211840/ ) is a mixed reef predator tank. I happen to have an empty 40G breeder tank but I feel like no matter how much I've read I'm no closer to even purchasing any equipment let alone starting to set something up.
