Rea Sea 425XL has been running about 10 months. Starting to get coralline algae.

Running a Reefmat, Algae scrubber, Skimmer
Two return pumps - Main straight to display and second thru a UV sterilizer

Everything seems fine although. Haven't seen my Algae Blemmy in a couple days but that isn't unusual. I know there is still some aiptasia on the center of the big island, I treated most yesterday.

Salt 35.5
PH 7.9-8.2
Temp 78-79
Alk 11.5
Ca 440
Mg 1271

I've noticed these 2 things growing more the past couple of weeks. I believe one is red slime, but would like another opinion because it is only on the island rock and not on substrate etc.
The other is the blue "polyps" are growing on 2 separate island rocks. Can anyone ID them?

Thanks

I had those blue bubbles growing on my rocks too.

Anyone have any ideas? At first I thought they were zoas that were closed up... I actually ripped one off to exam and turns out.. not zoas.

Bubble algae. Take a pic in white light. Bet most of the blue goes away.

I put just white lights and it did look more like the bubble algae I've seen but still some blue. Since they are islands I took them out scraped the areas with a blade and flushed with display water. See how it goes. If it comes back what is best an emerald crab?

I've used emerald crabs and they decimated the bubble algae. Might want to get you PO4 down to 0.05.
