Hey guys,

I just received one of my RO/DI upgrade canisters from @Bulk Reef Supply and I was attempting to remove it when it literally popped the screws out of the wall and bent the mounting bracket. Feels like that sucker is cemented in place. Any idea how I can loosen it up? And yes, I was using the supplied wrench.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: I just stood on top of the bracket and tried it til the wrench snapped.

Yeah those suckers get tight. I find that with the single canisters it is easier to remove the bracket and wedge the top in a bench vise. I can tap on the wrench to get it to release. I do use Haynes sanitary lube on the o-ring every time that I remove it. You can use a plumber’s lubricant too as long as it’s food safe.
