Can someone tell me how the newest Octopus pro skimmer, the model 300, with it's 8" body can handle two Sicce pumps' air input while the MSX Extreme/Coralvue Octopus Extreme skimmer 300 is 12" in diameter and uses the same two pumps. Something here has to be incorrectly paired. Not to mention the Octo Pro is 2" shorter, and it costs $200 more than the extreme. Both are in sump models. Anyone have insight into this?

Thanks,

Kirk
