Although I've kept B. wellsi and B. valida for ages, this relatively recent acquisition is my first B. merletti (size of a nickel):

...which then rapidly became a colony:

...and developed this interesting gravity assisted asexual propagation technique:

i have seen it from various blastos, i don't think they were all merletti. I enjoy it, saves me the trouble of cutting frags.

oh my godness, i googled that name because i couldn't believe that was a blasto. the colors are so frickin weird!! lovely specimen.
