I was getting my Space Invader off the substrate and onto a rock when I noticed somehow it has a broken tip. I am guessing I should frag this? I've never cut into this coral before. Is it pretty straight forward? Should I leave it be?

Leave be ,watch, if worsens then think about fragging.

what @fishguy242 said. leave it and see what happens. If you look at my rainbow, I broke a spire in a tank transfer and it is doing fine.

Great looking specimens! I'm interested to see if anyone knows why my Space Invader Pectinia is always puffy. All parameters are within normal limits, i use Reef Crystals, its in lower light and lower flow, but stays this way when moved up in lighting or flow as well. Its always happy eating and pooping. Juat wondering why its always puffy.

I just assume puffy is good. I moved my rainbow up a little and it has puffed up too, probably doubled in girth. My space invader on the other hand has been grumpy.

Puffy is inflated inflated is good. Deflated is ussualy an indication something may be off. Puffyer (?) the better.

EDIT : deflated doesn't alway indicate a problem. My two deflate overnight sometimes.

My grown from a tiny 1" frag to at least 5"-6" now. One of my 1st and favorite coral
It is as happy as it used to since the 2 Clownfish decided to host it.
